Remix is hosting an expert discussion series over the next two weeks with guests from Transportation for America, UITP, Transit Center, and Jarrett Walker & Associates. These virtual sessions will be a forum for experts to share what they are seeing, as well as an opportunity for attendees to share their experiences with one another.

- March 24 – Michelle Batsas, Executive Director, UITP – Michelle Batsas will speak about UITP’s findings in their recently released Public Transport Authorities and COVID-19 Response from the Front Line report which documents how agencies across Asia, Europe, and the U.S. are taking action. - March 25 – Beth Osborne, President, T4A – Beth will share an update on T4A’s recent efforts to secure emergency funding, reflect on lessons learned from ridership decline during the 2009-2010 recession, and provide ways we can all take action today to ensure the bright future of transit. - March 30 – Jarrett Walker, Jarrett Walker & Associates – Jarrett Walker will discuss the operational changes transit agencies can make in response to declining ridership, the tradeoffs of these changes, and concerns for the future. Register here.
